However, the designer, eager to avoid drawing, found himself overwhelmed by the task. To integrate these "deep-rooted" materials into the designs, he gathered extensive background information. This resulted in his mind being filled with strange and seemingly useless knowledge, which would often spill out in conversation.
Unexpectedly, these notebooks gained a lot of fans who shared a love for the "useless." Reflecting on it, it's the so-called "useless" that protects our precious sense of self. The myriad responsibilities of life often clash and compress the space for our individuality. Fortunately, we still have useless knowledge, fun, and experiences. These elements bring fresh, vital energy, keeping our "self" moist and pliable.
This season, Jiukoushan decided to rekindle the joy of discovering the "useless." The "LIFE ENCYCLOPEDIA" series features paintings from over 100 years ago and outdated knowledge, infused with a torrent of modern information. They are just waiting for you to capture and release them into the stream of life.
