Refund policy

Returns and exchanges are only allowed in the instance of a defective product being sent. If you have purchased an order that qualified for free shipping, return shipping on the item(s) being returned will be the responsibility of the buyer and must be shipped back with tracking. Please provide the tracking number to me via email once the item has shipped. Should a replacement product be requested, shipping for the replacement product will be paid for by the buyer.

Returns/refunds due to claims of defective/damaged products require the following information:

  1. Pictures of the damage to the item as well as pictures of the packaging materials
  2. All packaging from the item must be retained and submitted to the shipping carrier upon request if the damage is alleged to be from the shipping carrier (shipping carriers require that the packaging material be presented at the local location to ascertain the damage for themselves)
  3. Seller is not responsible for damage to items caused by opening any package with any item that may cause damage
  4. If damage is alleged due to shipping carrier handling, a refund will be issued once an insurance claim is filed and approved by the shipping carrier
  5. If an item obtains cosmetic damage in transit and the item is still functional, a refund will be issued commensurate with the damage of the item. 
  6. If the buyer wishes a complete refund for cosmetic damage, the item must be returned with all packaging intact. 

Items must be in the physical presence of the person that placed the order to allege a claim of a defective or damaged product.

Once a return/exchange is permitted, the item must be shipped backed within three days of the return/ exchange approval. Please ship the item(s) back to the return address on the mailing label from the package you received. Regardless of the reason for the return, the item must be returned and the tracking must show movement prior to any refund being issued. 

* Products must be received within 3 days of return approval. Original shipping fees and return shipping fees cannot be refunded.
* Items must be in brand new, resalable condition, unopened, and have their original barcode sticker, original packaging, etc (if applicable) to qualify for a refund.
* Tags must be attached, and sticker seals must be intact or unbroken for applicable items.
* Pens can be returned for a refund only if the ink has not been run through any part of the pen. If a cartridge is included with the pen, the return also must include the unused cartridge. If a pen contains a tip protector, the protector must be intact. Used pens cannot be returned for a refund.
* Pen sets can only be returned for a refund only if none of the pens have been used and the case shows no visible damage. If the pens contain the tip protector, the tip protectors for all pens must be intact.
* Pencils, including mechanical pencils, are eligible for return only if the pencils have not been sharpened (if applicable) and the erasers do not show any usage.
* Returns must include a Return Merchandise Form (RMA).
* All returns will be reviewed by our Returns Processing Team to determine if the item is in new, unopened, unused condition.
* Refunds can only be issued to your original payment method once the product is deemed in new condition. At the business's discretion, a store credit may instead be given.
*The Stationery Manor reserves the right to decline refund requests if the product has been used, opened, or in question.

If you have purchased an order that qualified for free shipping and a return/exchange for an item(s) is authorized by me, return shipping on the item(s) being returned will be the responsibility of the buyer. Should a replacement product be requested, shipping for the replacement product will be paid by the buyer.

Cancellation of orders containing pre-ordered items is not permitted, because I've already paid for your items. 

I highly encourage that all returns/exchange be shipped back in the packaging in which it was received. If the item was shipped in a rigid white mailer and the mailer is still reusable, please ship the item back in that mailer. The Stationery Manor takes its packaging and the health of our environment very seriously.
